Where are we and what should I be doing?

Last class we got to PV = PV1 + PV2 in section 5 of the notes on Linear Algebra Review.

Homework 1 is due February 17th which is this coming Monday.
You don't have to make the homework pretty, just show enough results/pictures
that we can tell you that you made an effort.

Let's agree that you can and should use AI (chatGPT, claude) for the homework and throughout the class
but not on the final project.

The week of January 28,30 was a right off because Rob could not talk.

Last week (February 4 and 6) we  went through the python script on vectorization and the 
likelihood for the logit.

I have laryngitis and cannot talk.
So, I cannot even zoom!!

I'm hoping to go over calling C++ from R on Thursday.

We are done looking at the hello worlds in R and Python.
Now we start working through the notes on the web page.
We start by computing the logit likelihood and discussing vectorization
and calling C++ from R.

Going through the Hello world in R.
Just about to do the multiple regression of y=price on x=(mileage,year).
Next time should get into the python version.
